Rampage Jackson claims that intake of testosterone has significant influence on him

The mixed martial artist and actor Quinton “Rampage” Jackson reported about effects of testosterone in the interview with Gary Alexander of “Fighters Only Magazine”. He told about his decision to take testosterone, about its effects on increase of muscle size, weight of the body and his sexuality. He pronounced these words after his fail at UFC 144 in Japan.
Rampage Jackson was openly discussing about his decision to seek a physician that could recommend him testosterone replacement therapy. He said honestly because he believed that testosterone didn’t include in anabolic steroids. Rampage Jackson noticed that steroids were for muscles but testosterone was natural. Thus, he was mistaken, considering that testosterone is not an anabolic steroid.
Actually, application of testosterone replacement therapy in mixed martial arts is a debated question. Testosterone is utilized legally in case of hypogonadism (reduced testosterone secretion). So, mixed martial artists who experience this condition may get a therapeutic use exemption which permits to use the steroid testosterone legally.
But the issue which is widely discussed is whether the fighter who utilizes therapeutic measure of testosterone may obtain unfair advantage during competitions.
The most of sportspersons that have got a therapeutic use exemption for intake of testosterone for clinical purposes deny receiving any increase of performance because of testosterone replacement therapy.
When it comes to Rampage Jackson, he acknowledged that testosterone replacement therapy had promoted increasing his muscle size, helped to get faster recovery from his injuries and influenced positively on his sexual abilities. The mixed martial artist claimed that he had had a knee injury. After he had taken 3 quantities of testosterone, the knee was healed. He gained bodyweight and muscle size. This mixed martial artist claimed that small dosages of the steroid testosterone had caused obvious changes in him. His sexual life was improved significantly; he started to feel as if he had been just 25.
Rampage Jackson blamed steroids for his impossibility to lose weight to compete in the 206lb weight class.
Jackson confirms that he doesn’t violate any law. He utilizes testosterone and confirms that it is legally.
