American youth are taught about side effects of steroids, but the results are not satisfactory

American youth are fans of their sports stars. They have already numerous such idols from the days of the baseball players Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson till the stars of today: the football player Peyton Manning and the baseball player Derek Jeter. Youth observe and repeat their each move.
Is it safe to idolize sports stars of today? It may be risky. Nowadays sports heroes earn millions of dollars due to administration of steroids. Although the NFL and the MLB fight against doping, the war seems to lack success. Steroid use like cancer destroys sports. Although American youth are educated about severe unwanted effects of these drugs, the results are not good.
It is said that youth are suppressed to use steroids. They try to meet the needed criteria of college admission; they idolize current professional sportspersons. The all these aspects induce taking steroids.
Undoubtedly, all parents want their children to succeed. If children go info sports, their parents desire them to compete successfully and to continue to play professionally. Children understand that it is difficult to do it. Which are the results? The pressure influences greatly on American youth. Over 10 % of teenagers feel that they need to lie in order to succeed. College admission levels have dropped because of budget cuts. The Recovery Place claims that it can cause the situation, when high school students will look for alternative ways to have ability to stand out among crowds. Abuse of steroids can seem for teenagers to be the best alternative mean.
American youth know that many professional athletes have succeeded differently. Some of them did it due to their talents and intensive workouts; others applied steroids and other related medicines. If American youth follow those who dope, which will be the results?
Prolonged steroid use may lead to addiction to these products. Furthermore, users of steroids may experience such negative results, as liver disorders, cancer, high blood pressure, icterus, kidney dysfunctions and bad cholesterol. These side reactions are claimed to be serious; they can threaten to life.
Undoubtedly, parents don’t want to see their children with destroyed health. They desire their children to reach goals due to devotion to sports and intensive workouts. But it is difficult to do it because many others lie, taking steroids. Now it is time to do everything to push out steroids. These medicines shouldn’t disturb to reach our goals.

How can you cause hot debates among baseball fans?

There is a theme that promotes hot debates. Especially baseball fans are excited, if they hear about steroids and their impact on this sport. Thus, if you desire to cause heated discussions, you only need to mention that certain superstars win due to usage of steroids.
Different individuals have various opinions, when it comes to the theme about steroids. Sometimes it is difficult to comprehend why several persons that are involved in baseball take steroids. Do they play baseball just for money? Are they so blinded by money and other awards that they do everything for these perspectives? Of course, the most respected baseball players are those that don’t administrate steroids and win because of natural talents. Those are worth of respect, honor and awards that are not lured to administrate forbidden medications for achievement of their goals.
It is believed that consumers of steroids must not be elected for the Hall of Fame. This aspect represents trying to avoid shame connected with the steroid era. You can see efforts to leave all negative effects in past and to move further. But do these efforts to blame consumers of steroids mean that the steroid era is over? Actually, a wrong perception is created here. The steroid era is not behind us yet. Those that suppose that condemnation of steroid users mean that baseball is drug-free are mistaken.
Everybody knows that many players of baseball have administrated anabolic steroids and other related drugs. Moreover, nobody doubts that today there are such players of baseball who continue to administrate banned preparations. A lot of people discuss whether a player with average skills can become great due to usage of forbidden medicines. Some persons confirm that without proper talents steroids do not profit. Talents must present. Others do not agree with this statement. They confirm that steroids may enhance performance whatever talent an athlete has.
But the problem is that we demonize players who dope alone. But not only sportspersons must be demonized for the steroid era. Everybody knows what happens actually during the steroid era.
It is unlikely that the steroid era is over. Baseball hasn’t yet past the dark clouds. Intake of steroids is still deeply in the soul of baseball. Decisive efforts should present to be sure that doping doesn’t destroy baseball anymore.

Athletes from the Dominican Republic use steroids to obtain a contract for playing in the MLB

The Major League Baseball put efforts to stop using steroids. It desires to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be capable to achieve the big show. One of the locations where the efforts of the MLB are applied and clearly observed is the Dominican Republic.
Those that live in the Dominican Republic desire to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. So, the whole family drives. Unfortunately, a lot of individuals are inclined to take steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs to achieve their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country where a lot of persons administrate steroids and other products that promote performance. That’s why a sportsperson from this location is asked whether he has applied steroids or other related medicines. Undoubtedly, this individual claims that he has never doped because tests are performed and anybody is afraid to be caught using any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests sportspersons from the Dominican Republic. Thus, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur athletes from this location tested positive. The MLB plans to tests Dominicans and to punish those that dope.
It is reported that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is significantly higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB puts significant efforts to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are taught about risks for their health related to steroids. They are educated about negative consequences which may be provoked by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a great problem in this situation. The average wage is about 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To get a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a real achievement for any Dominican. That’s why athletes from this country are especially inclined to dope for such perspectives. They want to obtain a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They desire to get it for well-being of their families and for improvement quality of life in future. Getting a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal life, from travelling by public transport to driving own car.
Actually, intake of steroids is not a problem just in that is limited within the Dominican Republic. It is a problem which destroys the whole world. No one sportsperson can be sure whether he competes against a person who has natural skills and talents or against an individual who takes steroids and other related preparations. That’s why it is important to nip intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth should be educated about dangers connected with doping not only in the Dominican Republic or only in the U. S. but around the world.

Future of baseball is bright

The Major League Baseball survived several baffling periods of time. It survived two situations which are claimed to be two world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Now the MLB suffers from steroid era. It is widely believed that it will be able to survive this period too. There was a case that had an essential impact on baseball as well. It was the case related to Barry Bonds.
Undoubtedly, Barry Bonds was not the only player of the MLB that applied performance-enhancing drugs. Furthermore, he is not the last of them. A lot of baseball players have taken prohibited preparations to promote performance. Many players of baseball have gotten praise and millions of dollars due to administration of forbidden medications.
The sums of money which may be gotten justify the dangers connected with usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players that administrate forbidden drugs don’t worry so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about getting money. Such people are responsible for the influence that is spread upon fans who try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot debates about baseball and the steroid era.
Nobody doubts that any baseball player that takes steroids destroys his honor. It is made only because of money. Such person trades own honor only for getting money.
Nonetheless, it is believed that future of baseball is light. A lot of baseball players have talents and proper skills; they train intensively and devote themselves completely to this sport. They are honest persons. They keep their image. Such persons love baseball truly. They don’t care just about money. Such baseball players are motivated by truthful love to baseball.
In fact, the MLB is against steroids. But unfortunately, there are individuals in each sport that take unfair advantage due to steroid use.
Our hope is light: we think that the day comes, when we’ll see sportspersons who compete not because of administration of steroids and other related preparations but due to natural talents, skills and hard workouts.

Steroids corrupt our world

The topic connected with steroids appears everywhere. It is widely discussed by numerous individuals. Everyday numerous articles mention about these drugs. You come across news that report about persons who administrate steroids. You come across stories about those who are caught distributing steroids and sentenced to probation or prison. However steroids are prescribed for numerous people to treat them from several illnesses, intake of these medications for performance-enhancing effects is more widely spread. It seems that it corrupts the whole world.
Many persons are controlled by money. If they may earn money due to sales or intake of anabolic steroids, they do it. They are not stopped by the steroid laws. They use and distribute these medications, however they are considered to be illicit in certain countries. Numerous individuals violate steroid laws because they may obtain money, selling and/or administrating steroids.
Nobody doubts that you have read numerous articles about wrestlers that have taken banned products for many years. Some of users died of sudden attacks, being young. But no one wants to realize that fatal situations happen due to steroids. Many individuals deny connections between serious medical conditions and intake of steroids.
The Major League Baseball tries to escape from steroid era. We believe that the time comes, when baseball will be played without steroids and winners will be decided due to natural talent and skills of players but not due to drugs that have performance-enhancing effects.
It is impossible to be sure that you realize how wide spread intake of banned medicines is in professional and non-professional sports. Usage of steroids by competitive athletes is cheating. If sportspeople take drugs that enhance performance, they lie. They take unfair advantage during competitions.
Any consumer of steroids that goes info sports should determine whether he/she has talent to be involved in sports. If he/she can’t compete, he/she should have another job. Each individual must do the job he/she really can do. So, if you are not able to play football, you should do another job.
There is a hope that administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs will be discontinued in sports. It may be that it will be soon in the future. Who knows?

Unfair decision of the court linked with a steroid dealer that cares about 5 children and his physically disabled wife

Steroid laws that ban intake of anabolic steroids have appeared because of certain conditions. They turned out to be responses to widespread intake of steroids in competitive sports. Anti-Doping Agencies hoped that ban of steroids would keep professional sportspeople far from intake of illegal products. But criminalization of steroids influenced on administration of steroids by competitive sportspersons slightly.
The steroid laws usually do not prosecute sportspersons who take illegal medicines. On the contrary, non-competitive sportspeople and recreational bodybuilders are usually targets of the steroid laws. They suffer due to results of violation of these laws.
This is not only one’s point of view. Real facts display it. Let realize: who is sentenced to prison because of selling steroids? For example, Ashley Dewayne Rivers of Alabama received 5-month imprisonment because he had sold about $2000 worth of steroids to a doctor. In fact, this individual was not the target of a steroid investigation. He only turned out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The estranged wife of this doctor said to federal investigators that her husband was involved in operations of black steroid market. So, the statement of this lady caused the situation, when the health care provider was investigated.
In fact, Ashley Rivers was a dealer of steroids for short period of time. This person provided these medicines to his friends of his gym. James Robinson, the defense attorney for Ashley Rivers, noted that his client had understood his guilty completely and taken the total responsibility for his illegal operations. The attorney noticed that Rivers was a good man. Although he broke the steroid laws, he realized the dangers and acknowledged his guilty.
The attorney James Robinson asked the judge to sentence his client only to probation. Ashley Rivers cared about his physically impaired wife, 2 adopted children and 3 children of his disabled brother. Moreover, Rivers sacrificed about 40, 000 dollars for persons that lost their homes because of tornadoes. It would be better, if this person were sentenced to probation. He would continue his work for his family and other individuals.
But Christopher Brinson, the Assistant U. S. Attorney, rejected the request of the defense attorney for River. He confirmed that this man committed a serious crime and he must serve time in jail. However the judge was inclined to agree with the request of the defense attorney James Robinson at the beginning, finally he made the decision to agree with the Assistant U.S. Attorney and sentenced Rivers to 5 months in jail.
You may realize that steroid laws don’t influence on professional sportspersons.

Jose Canseco returns to baseball

Jose Canseco is a former player of the Major League Baseball. This player was banned for usage of steroids. This player wrote a book “Juiced” in which he noted that a lot of players of the MLB doped.
Now he has been invited to play for the Tigres de Quintana Roo of Cancun. He has talked about his desire to play in the MLB again. Jose Canseco has written on Twitter that Cancun is his following step towards the MLB.
Jose Canseco has not played professional baseball since 2001 after he had played for the Chicago White Sox. This person was probably blackballed by baseball because of his statements linked with steroids and presented in the book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big”. He has identified himself as the “godfather” of steroids in baseball and took credit for introducing these medications in baseball. This person openly acknowledged in his book that he had used anabolic steroids and other medicines that have performance-enhancing effects. The author of the book mentioned also names of other baseball players that administrated steroids. Such baseball players, as Mark McGwire, Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez, and Jason Giambi were named by Jose Canseco.
However anabolic steroids can be bought without any prescription at Mexican pharmacies, they are forbidden in MLB.
According to certain reports, Jose Canseco will be tested for banned medications by the Quintana Roo Tigers.
The former baseball player claims that he has stopped taking steroids certain years ago. According to certain sources, since discontinuing using steroids it had been recommended testosterone replacement therapy for him to treat several problems related to reduced testosterone level.
The Cuban-American former baseball player noted that he had had certain undesirable reactions because of intake of steroids. So, his health care provider had to recommend him a testosterone gel to relieve from low sex drive and depression.
While he put efforts to restore his natural testosterone production, he got several troubles with laws. This person was detained for about 9 hours by the San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement after he had been caught possessing HCG at the international border. His house was raided by police officials but no any steroids were found.
Although Jose Canseco will never escape from his steroid past, he put efforts to continue playing professional baseball.

A TUE in MMA

Certain mixed martial artists have publicly admitted that they take anabolic steroids as a part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) that has been recommended by physicians. The executive director of the Nevada State Athletic commission (NSAC) Keith Kizer states that this aspect has created an impression among major people that steroid exemptions are given to permit MMA fighters to administrate the steroid testosterone.
During an interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMA Fighting Keith Kizer noticed that certain people believed that any fighter could obtain exemptions for usage of testosterone. He noted that he couldn’t say it about other states but he mentioned about the situation in Nevada. According to Kizer, it is 50/50 whether a request for steroid exemption will be approved.
TRT is a therapy that is required for adult men with hypogonadism (reduced testosterone levels). If sportspersons correspond to the medical criteria, they can be allowed to administrate steroids.
The NSAC has strict requirements for those that want to obtain a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for intake of steroids. A fighter must have the document which displays that blood levels of testosterone are low. But if an athlete has low testosterone level, it is not enough to obtain a TUE. Treating doctors should identify reasons and medical conditions. The details connected with testosterone replacement therapy must be described by physicians too. Each detail should display that certain sportsperson should take testosterone for clinical purposes and intake of steroids will not give unfair advantage to the sportsperson.
Several top athletes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have taken steroids for TRT. Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt, Dennis Hallman and Dan Henderson belong to the starts of the UFC that take steroids for clinical needs.
Keith Kizer, the executive director of the NSAC claims that prohibition of steroids makes MMA safer. He adds that if a fighter administrates steroids, he/she takes unfair advantage as if it is used knuckles that are hidden inside gloves. Thus, this is not just lying. This factor is linked with dangers for life. If you say to a fighter that you can put knuckles in the gloves so, as no one will observe it, this person will ask you not to bother him. But it is strangely that such sportsperson takes steroids.
Undoubtedly, intake of steroids has possible dangers to enhance the harm which may be caused in MMA.

James Gahan wants that his son realized that he cheated, when he was given steroids at the age of 13

James Gahan injected his son Corey who is 13 years old with anabolic steroids. The father wanted him to become an Olympic athlete.
This boy became an inline skating champion at the national level. This boy won the 2004 Inline Speed Skating Nationals. He also obtained the 2nd place at the 2005 National Indoor Speed Skating Championship.
Corey’s father pleaded guilty in possessing and injecting steroids to his young son. This person cooperated with a coach from Florida to provide his son with following preparations: testosterone, Deca Durabolin, HGH and HCG. This person was arrested in May, 2004. As a result of his illegal actions, he received 6 years in jail.
Since James Gahan had already served his time in a prison, he was released. This person began to confirm that his attitude to steroids and other banned substances had been changed wholly. He discussed with high school athletes about risks linked with intake of steroids. It was a part of his community service to which James Gahan had been ordered by the court.
This individual noted nothing about influence of steroids on the life and health of his son. He noticed only about own experiences with these preparations. He noticed that if someone desired to see side consequences of anabolic steroids, he might manifest them because he administrated these preparations. This person noticed that he used 45 tablets daily and his insides had eroded.
In fact, James Gahan didn’t explain what he meant, saying that his insides had eroded due to steroids. He didn’t say anything about his disease which required 45 pills per one day!
This person said about Corey that he had known everything they had done. But he noted that since he was the father, he took the total responsibility upon himself. But James Gahan concluded that it would be better for his son to admit that he had cheated.
But Corey doesn’t desire to talk to his father that has supplied him with steroids. Earlier he has claimed that his father has never been sorry for injecting him with steroids; he has been sorry just because of being caught.

Colin Daynes administrated steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator

Colin Daynes, a Greco-Roman wrestler, wanted to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. Unluckily, his dreams will not be real. Doping became a reason for it. This wrestler was caught taking steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Earlier Colin Daynes won the 74 kg division at the Canadian Wrestling Qualification Trials.
According to the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports, Colin Daynes tested positive for such banned preparations, as boldenone, drostanolone, furosemide and tamoxifen. Boldenone and drostanolone are anabolic steroids which are better known under their trade names: Equipose and Masteron. When it comes to Tamoxifen, it is known as Nolvadex. This drug is usually administrated in stacks with some others in order to reduce fluid retention. Furosemide or Lasix is a diuretic. Wrestlers take this drug as well as other diuretics to lose body weight to correspond to requirements of certain weight categories.
Colin Daynes acknowledged that he had used anabolic steroids and other banned products intentionally. He said that he had taken these drugs to get recovery from a partially-torn bicep and an elbow injury. But this wrestler added that he hadn’t known that these medicines were forbidden by the WADA. Colin Daynes blamed his doctor for this factor. He said that he had consulted a naturopathic physician who recommended him taking these preparations. The wrestler noted that if he had known that the medicines were banned, he would not have competed.
This wrestler represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. After he won the national trials in 2008 he desired to participate in the Beijing Olympics. But he didn’t take part in this Olympics because he couldn’t qualify at the international level. Recently this wrestler won the Canadian Wrestling Qualifying Trials in December, 2011, and was scheduled to secure his allowance for the 2012 London Olympics through the competition at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But due to administration of prohibited preparations this wrestler has received 2-year ban. It means that he is not allowed to compete till December 2012, when his athletic career ends as well.
Colin Daynes reported that he had represented the native country proudly. He concluded that people might judge him, if they wanted to do it after his 25-year successful career and everything he had done.

The case related to Lance Armstrong

The case against Lance Armstrong connected with doping is proclaimed to be closed. This person remains to be considered a champion that won at the Tour de France 7 times.
It is known that federal prosecutors tried to determine whether this cyclist and his teammates have taken part in a doping program. The duration of the investigation has been approximately 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has used forbidden drugs. The accusations against this person threatened not only to his athletic career but also to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this athlete administrated steroids were in vain.
Armstrong noticed that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office made a decision to close the case. He confirmed that it was a right decision. Armstrong claimed that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
Andre Birote, an attorney proclaimed during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation linked with the case of Lance Armstrong. This attorney didn’t mention about any reason of this decision. But he just said that previous similar cases were also closed.
For example, the investigation related to Barry Bonds was claimed to be unsuccessful. Prosecutors couldn’t prove that this athlete had cheated about administration of steroids. As for the case connected with Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge declared about previous mistrial.
Investigators thought that a doping program was organized by Armstrong’s team. They wanted to determine whether it was so as they believed. Authorities investigated whether Armstrong encouraged or promoted doping.
Actually, prosecutors tried to define whether Armstrong and his team violated federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Lance Armstrong wasn’t required to testify before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were accused in lying under oath.
The former Armstrong’s teammate Frank and her wife Betsy Andreu charged Armstrong with administration of forbidden preparations. They claimed that they were shocked by the decision to close the case. They concluded that such situations happened due to possessing money and corruption.

Steroid use and brain cancer

The professor of Wisconsin’s University Norm Fost destroys several common misconceptions related to anabolic steroids. However certain experts note about serious and even fatal undesirable reactions of anabolic steroids, the doctor Fost denies these affirmations, claiming that they don’t have any scientific basis.
But affirmations of this doctor are not so frequently quoted by media as statements about dangerous adverse effects of steroids. Thus, the message of Norm Fost that steroids are not so dangerous, as it is believed, is noted once for every 500-time statement that steroids represent a real evil.
Moreover, editors usually mislead readers, writing the quotes of Norm Fost wrongly. For example, a headline of a radio talk sounds following: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”. The headline is wrong. It is misleading. Norm Fost has never stated that steroids were not harmful at all. It is obvious that these medicines can lead to different side results. Norm doesn’t deny risks of appearing unwanted reactions. In fact, this expert says some other things. This doctor notices that possible risks of steroids are essentially exaggerated. This physician denies the affirmation that steroids cause the rare form of brain cancer. According to some sources, this caused the death of Lyle Alzado, a player of the NFL. Norm Fost notices that there is no any connection between the death of this player and steroids.
Alzado blamed his prolonged steroid abuse for the primary brain lymphoma that finally led to his death. Assertion of this person was the only evidence that supported the link between his intake of steroids and the brain cancer.
But a question appears here. Why did Alzado make public his steroid use, blaming anabolic steroids for his diseases? Couldn’t you find this fact strange?
Actually, it was said that AIDS had suppressed his immune system and induced destroying his body by the primary brain lymphoma.
A pathologist noticed that Alzado had had T-cell lymphoma that was related to AIDS. According to Dr. Thomas DeLoughery, Alzado feared that the public would know that he died from AIDS because of the cancer.
Pathologists at OHSU claimed that this football player had had B-cell lymphoma which was not connected with HIV or AIDS.
The doctor DeLoughery explained the case. He noticed that T-cells of this person were inflamed but the malignant cells were B-cells.
While experts disputed about AIDS and the type of cancer which Alzado had, nobody of them confirmed about connection between his brain lymphoma and usage of steroids.

Anna Watson’s moral principles didn’t permit her to affect her health through steroids

Anna Watson, an university cheerleader of Georgia, noted that she was pressured to use steroids to get a fitness modeling contract. Her modeling agent indicated her to administrate Anavar to gain needed 50 pounds of muscles. This person was tempted but finally she refused this recommendation. Anna Watson confirmed that her body was “a temple” and she wouldn’t destroy it.
This lady mentioned that she had been tempted by administration of steroids several times. The agent put efforts to present steroids as something good.
It was noted that she would obtain a $75,000 per year fitness modeling contract, if she use steroids and gain 50 pounds of muscles. Anna Watson said that she talked to representatives of Elite Model Management in Paris. Elite is one of the most prestigious modeling networks. Such celebrated models, as Adriana Lima, Cindy Crawfors and Gisele Bundchen belong to Elite.
But Anna Watson has chosen to be better a cheerleader at the University than to be implicated in the glamorous world. In addition to this aspect, she rejected steroid use because this factor was not in harmony with her religious principles. Anna Watson noted that she didn’t serve a modeling agent but God. Anna Watson added that she had been created as a beautiful creation. This lady made a conclusion that she would not violate her moral and religious principles just to take photos. She decided not to affect her health.
Certain questions appear, reading these statements. One could ask whether Elite Model Management looks for models that have the same appearance like competitive female bodybuilders. Or may be Anna Watson just desire to draw people’s attention by taking advantage of bad attitude to steroids?
It is obvious that if Anna Watson acquires 50 pounds of muscles, she will be permitted to compete on national bodybuilding stage. But what is for contract of 75, 000 dollars per year? Athletes know that such sums of money are not obtained easily even in sports. But may such large sum of money be received from modeling agency? It is controversial.
Female bodybuilders fight greatly to receive prize money. Women with muscular appearance are more likely to get money from “schmoes” (men who have sexual fetish for muscular females) than from the most prestigious modeling agencies.

The manager for King Mo Lawal blames pharmaceutical companies that market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements

King Mo Lawal acknowledged that he had taken a dietary supplement which was tainted. As it turned out to be, that supplement contained 2 ingredients which were synthetic steroids. According to this fighter and his manager, usage of this product caused positive for Masteron.
This fighter noticed during an interview for MMA Hour that he had bought “S-Mass Lean Gainer” in a Max Muscle store in April, 2010. This product was manufactured by Steel Body Production.
But this is not the case, when steroid ingredients are not written. Synonyms of forbidden drugs are written on the label of this product. In fact, these steroids were the subjects of certain debates between anti-doping agencies and federal regulators since 2005. They are following: 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol and 4-Chloro-17a-Methyl-a-andro4-ene3, 17b-diol. These medications are better known under the names: Superdrol and Promagnon.
As for Superdrol, it goes by methyldrostanolone, methasteron and 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol. Thus, methylated version of Masteron was defined in the urine sample of King Mo Lawal by a proper lab of the anti-doping agency.
Anabolic Resources, a pharmaceutical company, was the first which produced Superdrol as a dietary supplement. It was more than 5 years ago. This company was accused in introducing of a new unapproved medication. Later Anabolic Resources pleaded guilty and acknowledged that they had sold a synthetic steroid as a dietary supplement. As a result, Anabolic Resources had to pay a fine of 500, 000 dollars.
As for Promagnon, it also originally appeared as a dietary supplement in 2005 by Peak Performance’ Labs. The government didn’t take any action against the company for manufacturing and selling this steroid. But this pharmaceutical company decided to discontinue manufacturing this steroid in 2006.
Although legal status of these two products is controversial, numerous companies have produced and sold them as dietary supplements during about 6 years. Of course, persons who are involved in this industry know about the status of these supplements but they continue to offer them for sales.
The manager for Lawal notices that the full responsibilities should be taken by the companies that market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements. This person adds that such companies misguide people intentionally.

Ryan Braun and his MVP awards

However Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a suspension for administration of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This player didn’t admit to administration of forbidden medicines. This player said that he had turned to be a victim of a false positive. Ryan Braun fights against the results that have been proclaimed.
However it has been recently discussed whether users of steroids may be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they don’t forfeit their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted users of steroids keep their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell announced that Ryan Braun would be allowed to receive the MVP awards. Earlier other users of steroids were permitted also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these athletes acknowledged that they had taken steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Ryan Braun had enhanced level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has displayed about exogenous type of testosterone. In fact, this test can’t indicate actual quantity of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was used by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was used carbon isotope ratio testing that confirmed about existence of exogenous testosterone.
Many sportswriters considered that Ryan Braun should have left his MVP awards due to the positives for banned drugs. But this person made another decision. Ryan Braun decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false charges with usage of steroids. He noted that characters of people are revealed in such situations of adversary. Ryan Braun noted that he had a great respect to baseball. This player added that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with respect and appreciation to baseball.
It was said that Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball who didn’t feel needs to use steroids to be capable to play. When this player found out about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was too surprised. He said that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to say about usage of forbidden medications.
Ryan Braun made a decision to fight against the results of his tests, claiming that unusual circumstances surrounded this situation. The baseball player mentioned that he would prove his innocence and false positives.

Alexandre Dougnier tested positive for over 10 prohibited drugs

Intake of anabolic steroids and other drugs that increase performance is widespread among amateur as well as professional sportspersons. It isn’t surprisingly, if sportspersons test positive for controlled medicines. But there are several unusual cases, when an individual tests positive for many prohibited medications. Here is an example.
The teenage amateur French cyclist Alexandre Dougnier tested positive for over 10 banned medicines, including over 5 steroid metabolites. It was at a race in France in May, 2011. He has been sentenced to 3-year ban from competitions.
It was determined that this young cyclist had taken such steroids, as Anavar, Dianabol and Winstrol. Other steroid metabolites which were discovered in his urine sample included 3-Hydroxystanozolol, 16b-Hydroxystanozolol, 4b-Hydroxystanozolol, Oxandrolone, epi-Oxandrolone, 6b-Hydroxymethandienone and 17-epi-Methandienone.
This young cyclist was a member of the Parisian Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt. Several individuals mention that this cyclist might have been a follower of the club’s doper Jacques Anquetil. This person has been claimed to be a celebrated individual of cycling’s history. He was a member of the club de Boulogne-Billancourt in 1950s and 1960s. Jacques Anquetil was the first cyclist that had won the Tour de France 5 times. This cyclist had got also 2 Olympic medals.
Jacques Anquetil administrated steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Furthermore, this cyclist defended doping during a TV debate with the French sports minister. He said that it was not possible to endure cold, heat waves and rain in mountains during cycling without doping. He claimed that only a fool individual would endure this agony connected with the extreme sport of cycling without performance-enhancing drugs. This celebrated cyclist noted that drug testing might deprive individual liberty. Jacques Anquetil concluded that everybody doped.
It is important to note steroids were not so widespread among cyclists in 1950s and 1960s. Usage of more dangerous amphetamines was more widespread during those years. As for usage of anabolic steroids, it has become more enhanced during past 2 decades.
Let observe which affirmations have been said about steroids, when other cyclists have been caught using them. When Floyd Landis was caught taking testosterone, it was argued by his legal team that neither anabolic steroids, nor other performance-enhancing drugs were capable to enhance performance in cyclists. As for the distributor of steroids Joseph Papp, he didn’t agree with this statement. He noticed that intake of steroids was widespread in elite cycling. According to his words, a person can use testosterone gels in a clever way without being caught by anti-doping programs: users of transdermal testosterone must take in consideration detection time.
Alexandre Dougnier was not careful and didn’t put efforts to avoid detection. He probably didn’t suggest that cyclists would be tested for banned products at the race in Aubervilliers.

Rampage Jackson says that it is obvious that King Mo Lawal has used steroids

Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t like each other. They didn’t manifest their negative attitude to each other for some years. During an interview Lawal noticed about their relationships, mentioning that he doesn’t have good opinion about Rampage Jackson that also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it isn’t surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson commented on the fact linked with Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson noticed that it was quite evident that Lawal had used steroids. He pointed out that King Mo Lawal was not a true fighter. He applied steroids to be capable to fight.
Rampage Jackson said that there were fighters that were permitted to administrate steroids. He referred to those who had to use steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This person said that it was a significant difference between purposes. Fighters and other sportspersons are allowed to administrate steroids for TRT and not for increase of performance, according to Quinton Rampage Jackson.
This fighter claims that there are athletes that experience certain health problems. They talk to their physicians who prescribe steroids. They take these medications in order to to escape from their diseases and to stay competitive. But Ranpage Jackson adds that there are fighters who use steroids to enhance their performance. It is very sadly, according to this mixed martial artist.
However, intake of steroids for hormone replacement therapy by athletes is a quite controversial issue.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson admitted that they had taken steroids because of hypogonadism.
So, Rampage is a fighter that confirmed about permission to take steroids as a part of TRT by athletes. But there are other fighters who do not support this opinion. A lot of athletes have the same opinion as Michael Bisping has. They think that intake of steroids is just justified by therapeutic reasons. They proclaim that all fighters that take anabolic steroids, noting that they are on TRT, are cheaters.
Lawal says that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both Lawal and his manager confirm that they are really surprised by the results of the test.
Fans were waiting for a fight between Jackson Rampage and Lawal. There were several rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the dreams of fans were not justified. Lawal has to serve a suspension.

Cyborg Santos servers her ban because of steroid use

Dana White, the president of the UFC, announced about the end of the female featherweight division in Strikeforce. He noted that it was linked with positive of Christiane Cyborg Santos for Winstrol. Dana White claimed that this factor would promote the ending of the whole division. Santos lost her title. That’s why Dana White came to the conclusion related to the end of the division.
It is said that the president of the UFC Dana White didn’t suppose which would be the response of some persons to the Winstrol metabolites that had been discovered in Santos’ sample. He didn’t except that a significant war would begin on Twitter between celebrated female mixed martial artists.
Rowdy Ronda Rousey who is the top of female MMA featherweight and that has received the bronze medal in judo noted about her dislike to intake of anabolic steroids and her attitude to Cyborg Santos.
Rowdy Rousey made her feelings about this question public. She expressed them during an interview with TapouT Radio. Rowdy Rousey pointed out that usage of steroids was caused by uncertainty of sportspersons in their skills, strength and abilities. She explained that the decision to take performance-enhancing drugs came from the thoughts that the persons were not enough prepared to win in competitions. Rowdy Rousey added that intake of steroids and other related drugs displayed psychological weakness of consumers. According to this female mixed martial artist, this weakness promotes lying.
Rowdy Rousey noted about her attitude to the ban of Cyborg Santos during various interviews. She talked to Mauro Ranallo during “The MMA Show” that she knew that Cyborg Santos had applied prohibited preparations. Rowdy Rousey said that she never had respect toward Chris Cyborg Santos. Rowdy Rousey concluded that she was happy to know out that Santos had been caught and suspended.
As for Cyborg Santos, she became angry because of Rousey’s affirmations. She told her fans on Twitter that Rousey would be her next victim at the fight. The fight will probably be after serving of the ban by Santos. She thinks that she will be welcomed by Strikeforce.
Santos wrote following words, referring to Rowdy Ronda Rousey: “Proxima victim…Ronda! No mercy!!” Santos hosted a photo of Gina Carano after she defeated her at Strikeforce Female Championship. But she didn’t post the real picture. Instead of it, Cyborg Santos applied Photoshop to exaggerate the damages that were inflicted by her upon Gina Carano.
Rowdy Rousey didn’t hesitate a lot; she responded to the comments and the image immediately. She had harsh words for Santos, blaming her for cheating and for posting the picture, using Photoshop.
Numerous individuals confirm that the war on Twitter between Rowdy Ronda Rousey and Christiane Cyborg Santos is more entertaining than certain real fights. It seems that this war is the preparation for the fight between Rousey and Santos in 2013.
