A former sex symbol used testosterone for enhancement of libido

This famous woman told in an interview for “The Sunday Telegraph” that she had used the steroid testosterone. It was her first time, when she made her administration of testosterone public. This woman is 73 years old. She mentioned that she had started to use testosterone at the age of 70. Her purpose was to induce her sex drive. The actress intended to improve her sex life.
It is necessary to mention that Jane Fonda was considered to be the sex symbol of 1960s. Recently the actress published a new book. It was entitled following: “Prime Time: Love, health, sex, fitness, friendship, spirit-making the most of all of your life”. You may guess that she writes what a person has to do in order to achieve healthy life, healthy sex and to have satisfaction the whole life. A chapter describes methods to enhance libido in older people. But there is no any reference to steroids.
Jane Fonda noticed about side effects of the anabolic steroid testosterone in the interview for “The Sunday Telegraph”. She told that she had stopped using testosterone because of acne . Nevertheless, the actress recommends administrating this steroid to improve sex life.
It is known that the anabolic steroid testosterone is a good medicine for increase of libido. But unwanted reactions of this product may be quite serious. The Food and Drug Administration didn’t approve this medication to enhance libido in females. Some people are sure that conservative attitudes to sexuality of women disturbed the FDA from approval of this remedy for female libido.
