Federal prosecutors have limited knowledge about anabolic steroids

Feds don’t have sufficient knowledge about anabolic steroids, although they pursue those that produce, take and/or sell these medications. They don’t read scientific literature about these preparations. The government uses information which is presented in Wikipedia. Although feds speak about adverse effects of steroids, they don’t know about these conditions sufficiently. Citing statements about steroids provided in Wikipedia, they punish consumers/manufacturers/distributors of these products, affirming that these medicines represent evil.
Certain important questions appear here: Is it correct to base upon information presented in Wikipedia in such cases? Are these statements true? Aren’t they exposed to manipulations? Aren’t they mixed with personal opinions of sponsors?
Maurice Hall, the associate professor of communication and culture at Villanova University, claims that it is not reasonable to base wholly upon statements written in Wikipedia. He affirms that Wikipedia serves an excellent guide for footnotes. But affirmations presented in Wikipedia may be not true entirely.
For example, when John Isaac Hudelson was sentenced to imprisonment, federal prosecutors based their conclusions related to illegal operations of this person upon statements cited from Wikipedia. Feds affirmed that Hudelson would be sentenced 47-54 months in jail because he administered and distributed steroids. Stephen Greubel, the defense attorney for Hudelson, claimed that 47-54 months in prison were too much for his client. He noted that Hudelson sold steroids, products that differed from such drugs, as amphetamine, methamphetamine, codeine, morphine, etc. The defense attorney for Hudelson affirmed that steroids didn’t lead to addiction.
Federal prosecutors affirmed that John Isaac Hudelson manufactured, applied and distributed steroids to his friends. They affirmed that while steroids didn’t lead to addiction, desire to be muscular could be addictive. Furthermore, they added that steroids could lead to grave negative effects. All statements of feds were based upon those written in Wikipedia.
Ultimately, the government sent Isaac John Hudelson to 37 months in prison.
