Oscar De La Hoya and Richard Schaefer apologized for accusation Pacquiao in steroid use

Oscar De La Hoya is the president of Golden Boy Promotions. Richard Schaefer is the CEO of this company. These individuals suspected the boxer Manny Pacquiao in administration of steroids. Since this accusation could disturb Many Pacuiao’s career, he filed a defamation lawsuit against the president and the CEO of this promotional company, the boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his father.
But later Manny Pacquiao and Bob Arum, the CEO of Top Rank, reached an agreement with Golden Boy Promotions. Thus, Manny Pacquiao dropped lawsuit against the president and CEO of the promotional company Golden Boy Promotions. But the defamation lawsuit against the boxer Floyd Mayweather and his father remained in power.
The CEO and the president of Golden Boy Promotions confirmed that they denied their prior affirmations linked with accusation in steroid use by Manny Pacquiao. They proclaimed that there was no any reason to accuse this boxer in administration of prohibited preparations. They admitted that Manny Pacquiao was one of the best boxers of all times. At the end of agreement, the president of Golden Boy Promotions and the founder and the CEO of Top Rank shook their hands.
It is considered that the apology will promote competing between Top Rank fighters and Golden Boy fighters.
Since the accusation was related to Manny Pacquiao, the apology was related to him too. The fighter accepted it and dropped the defamation that was related to the Cief Executive Officer and the president of Golden Boy Promotions.
At the beginning the the question related to possible intake of performance-enhancing drugs delayed the fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather. It happened because Mayweather insisted on tests for steroids by the WADA.
Then Mayweather refused to fight with this boxer again, referring to steroid accusation. It led fans to increased impatience because they were waiting for the fight.
