Justin Gatlin wanted to receive a hug from a reporter in exchange of admission related to intake of prohibited drugs

Justin Gatlin is an American sprinter. This sportsman tested positive for anabolic steroids in 2006 and served a 4-year ban. It was determined that he had taken testosterone. Since his 4-year ban is over, this sportsperson was waiting to be accepted back. But it seems that Justin Gatlin doesn’t know the rules related to the return to the world of sports. A sportsperson that has served a certain ban caused by intake of performance-enhancing products is not accepted back automatically. He\She has to admit publicly that it was a great mistake; he\she should apologize “with tears in his\her eyes” that he\she has taken performance-enhancing drugs
But this American athlete intends to do things his way. He noticed that he had never administrated prohibited medicines intentionally. The American sportsman claimed that he had tested positive for steroids because a revengeful masseuse had used a testosterone cream during a massage. In fact this explanation was taken from a book of Lance Armstrong, a former American cyclist. Justin Gatlin has not changed the Laurence’s excuse at all in more than 5 years.
Since Justin Gatlin didn’t admit applying steroids publicly, sports reporters interviewed him many times. Justin Gatlin was asked whether he was going to admit using prohibited medicines. Once it has become clear that this sprinter had taken forbidden preparations knowingly. It was during an interview made by a New York Times reporter. Justin Gatlin noticed that he would admit using anabolic steroids intentionally in exchange for a hug! Could you imagine it? The New York Times reporter mentioned that people would hug him more, if he admits. Nevertheless, Justin Gatlin remained “invincible”, asking: “If I say it right now, are you gonna give me a hug?”
Since this sprinter has already the support of the USA Track and Field (USATF), it is suggested that Justin Gatlin will never admit using banned substances. It is unclear why he has got the support because Jill Greer, the spokesperson for the USATF, notes that USATF doesn’t support sportspersons that have ever administrated steroids knowingly. Such athletes have to be ignored, according to USATF. The case related to Justin Gatlin displays that the statement of the spokesperson is not respected at all.
