Jordan Matechuk keeps some special circumstances linked with steroid use confidential


Jordan Matechuk, a player of the Canadian Football League, was busted by the US Customs and Border Patrol (CBP). He was caught possessing more than 540 pills of oral steroids and more than 260 ml of injectable steroids, when he was driving to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats training camp. Matechuck confirmed that his depression was responsible for the decision to get and use anabolic steroids.
The football player noticed that he used anabolic steroids and marijuana in order to be able to escape from his depression. He noted that earlier he had administered anti-depressants. Stopping applying anti-depressant medications probably led to administration of steroids.
Matechuk claimed that he suffered from depression. He began to apply steroids and marijuana in order to feel better. Jordan Matechuk admitted that he was responsible for this condition. He wouldn’t have discontinued utilizing anti-depressants. But he discontinued using them. This condition resulted in steroid use.
Jordan Matechuk pleaded guilty to possession of steroids and marijuana.
Although he faced up to 2-year imprisonment, he was sentenced to 90 years in prison. But he was released after he served just 60 days.
Jordan Matechuk stated that there were some other conditions but he decided to keep them out of public knowledge.
The Canadian Football League gave him another chance to play professional football.
He wrote a letter and sent it to each member of the team. Matechuk noted about his shame for the arrest resulted from possession and usage of steroids. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats didn’t desire to receive the steroid user back to the team.
But the Winnipeg Blue Bombers decided to provide him the second chance. So, Matechuk was happily accepted by this team.
